In order to ensure higher studies for the children of the members of Chittagong Port Authority, Chittagong Port High School (established in 1959) has been graded to a School and College initially from 2013-2014 sessions. Lately, in January 2014, Chattogram Bandar Mohila College earned the recognition as a distinctive college to spread time-honored higher education.
